The gym I go to has a sign that says Abs are made 30% in the gym and 70% in the kitchen. First is to watch what you eat, try to focus on getting fruits and vegetables, fiber, and some protein. In working out, don't just do crunches, if you do ab workouts, make sure you work all the muscles. Also, do full body workouts and cardio. Yoga and pilates could be good to, as generally you need a strong core, which would help the other exercises. Lastly, make sure your drinking enough water, a lot of people don't drink enough because their afraid of water weight, but I've heard, not sure if its true or not, so feel free to correct me, that if you don't drink enough water, your body holds onto the water more eagerly.

core exercises and some cardio would work wonders and try doing cardio at least 3 times a week and do a regimen of pushups, sit ups, and other core working exercises 5 times a week :) Make sure you do a warm up or your muscles will really ache!! (I learned that the hard way...)
Diet is numero uno! Stay off carbs (less than 100g/day) focus on non-processed foods. Start weight training, focus on compound lifts (squats/deadlifts) and do cardio (20mins) right after weight training.
try to remain stress free. maintain a healthy diet. and do HIIT 5 days a week.
