is there any possible way to fix an extreme acid trip? please help?

"He hasn't eaten or slept or talked or moved off of his couch for the past 3 days."
Acid doesn't do this. It wears off within hours.
"He's stuck in his thoughts, and has been questioning everything about his life... like why he's here right now, and what is he doing with his life"
And it doesn't do this.
"he can't escape his thoughts, and there's a voice in his head that won't leave"
And it doesn't do this.
"his eyes have changed colors"
And NOTHING does this.
Calling bullshit on the whole thing.
do you really think he's lying? he sounded extremely upset on the phone... he said he took waaaaayyyy too much
You haven't seen him?
Either he's lying, or you are. Either way, none of this is true.
why tf would I lie? I have nothing to gain from this, and no I haven't seen him... but like the other person who commented said, it affects neuro receptors... and he's probably altered them very negatively... this is completely legitimate I promise
I have no idea why trolls do what they do.
And acid does alter neuro receptors, but not like this. Any "insanity" that arises from a bad trip is temporary. It does not last for days. It lasts for hours at worst. And even when bad trips happen, they do not manifest themselves with ANY of the symptoms you've described.
This is as far from legitimate as you can get. It's not even arguable.
please don't call him a troll
Quite frankly, I'm not.
fist off call an ambulance the chemicals have built in his system and are slowly destroying his mind. It's time to get the help he needs by the way mental institutions are for mental patients not people that have done to much drugs and are having a negative effect to them. Now you know what happens on acid time to get the proper help and go to a hospital so they can pup his system and clean him out. if the chemicals are not removed it could mean permanent damage.
It sounds like this is an unfortunate case of someone having their potential for Schizophrenia triggered with an LSD trip. If there's a history of Schizophrenia in your family then you're at an elevated risk of developing it yourself and unfortunately LSD can awaken it in those people. You should take him to a hospital to get a mental evaluation.
Okay he needs to go to hospital there is no magical way to quick fix him get him checked out stop being stupid about it

Calling a medical doctor is probably the only thing you can do.
LSD affects neuro receptors so it is possible to take a bad trip and have it really negatively affect those receptors. Brian Wilson (lead singer, writer, etc for the beach boys) is an example of a person who essentially went temporarily insane from acid. it usually requires that a person already has some traits towards anxiety or personality disorders. he needs to go to doctor probably more specifically a neurologist
he's too scared to go see a doctor... he's afraid they'll stick him in a mental institution, and he would never let me drag him down there... is there any other way to fix this, or is that the only option?
NO, the ER!
what would happen if he didn't go to the er? :( I'm so scared for him but I don't know how to get him to go :(
the ER isn't really the place since he's not currently on the acid and it isn't really an emergency. if he goes to an ER they are just going to run very basic tests that cost a ton of money and then refer him to his primary care doc. he needs to go to a doctor though because they NEED to start doing neurological testing. unless he is just on some particularly potent acid (which I don't think is the case vs just taking some bad acid) the only way to at least know what's going on is a doctor
Get him to a hospital. Quit whining about how he'd die without music or in a mental institute. Take him to the hospital and have him take a tab of whatever he took with him so they know what it was. If he won't go, call an ambulance and make him go.
Oh and it goes without saying that doing drugs is effing stupid, right?
Right?
Not educating people about drugs is stupid. LSD is pretty safe for the vast majority of people. The exception is people with a family history of schizophrenia. From the sound of things, that's what happened here. If people were more educated about drugs and those with a family history of schizophrenia knew the specific danger to them, you'd see things like this happening less often.
I don't know about LSD being "safe" it's soaked in rat poison or strychnine which is the same thing and there are various other added ingredients. Now you can also get a bad batch which is what happened with me when I was younger. Dropped the stuff countless times and was always fine and then one night I had a trip from hell and was feeling the effects for close to a month afterwards. Sounds like he got a bad batch and is messing up his whole system, he definitely should get checked out.
The rat poison/strychnine thing actually isn't true. Just another peace of smear created in the war against drugs. It's possible that he did get a bad batch, but that just points again to the need of education in these matters. It's simple enough to get a test kit so you know what you're getting.
Gradual use can cause depression. I've taken acid before and didn't feel like myself afterwards either. He probably has a tiny depression. Acid also really melts your brain so I would take serious action
Go Asap to the nerest ER!!
*nearest , typo
I don't think he needs to go to an ER since he's not currently on acid and it isn't an emergency. I would think they'll just run the basic but not thorough tests and then refer him back to a primary care physician. so in that case it seems to make sense just to go to the doctor
He bought what he thought was 'acid' but what was it IN REALITY? How much of it, how pure, or mixed with what kind of poison?
physical exercise, no thinking, get up move along
