I have horrible anxiety and panic attacks at night like now, what can I do to stop it?

Hey girl! I know your situation far too well... I have a mood disorder that often includes panic/anxiety attacks. :(
First, I want you to take some deep breaths and drink some water. It will help calm your body down, and slow your heart rate!
Something that works for me is, as strange as it sounds, Benedryl. When I have an anxiety or panic attack, something I do is take one Benedryl, sometimes even just half of one. It makes you a little drowsy (I guess you could say "high"), and calms you down quite a bit. It is not addictive and is not bad for you, especially in such a small dosage - A lot of doctors, believe it or not, actually recommend it for immediate sedation for anxiety! My psychiatrist had even recommended it to me for when these sort of things happen.
If you have no benedryl at the moment, I do definitely recommend picking some up, especially if you have these attacks often! And in the meantime, just work on slowing your body down and getting a little less panicked... If you need somebody to talk to, you could always message me! I know how this sort of thing feels, it's no fun.

I've got some experience with anxiety/panic attacks. First thing is realize you are suffering from nothing more than an adrenalin surge. It is no different than what you feel when a truck honks its horn unexpectedly. In terms of cause, it is a bit different, because you probably can't pinpoint the source right now. What this has done is make you respond in fear to the first adrenalin surge itself, which brings on more fear and on and on. It happens in an instant, but realize this... no matter how horrible it feels it is not harming you in any way. Ride the tide for now and when you calm down a bit do a little Googling about the subject.

and even depression.

If you for whatever reason can't get your hands
on that, meditation works too.

If you're unfamiliar with meditation or just
find it a dumb solution, you can also just
do simple breathing exercises. ^.^

if you're new to this sort of heart racing.

If it's preventing you from sleeping, try to
sit still for a moment and breath calm, deep breaths
it will relax you somewhat. ^.^
