At the time I took an HIV test in 2002 I was told at the time when I gave blood for the test. I remember being told unexpected what my blood type was (I didn't know they told you), and thought "Oh really?" but I soon forgot about it. Since then, I've given blood and been tested for STDs again but I was never told my blood type again nor did I ask what it was. I should though, this is actually a great awareness question because I think people should know what it is.

Mine is A+. I know because I regularly donate blood. Next time you are at the doctor, ask.
