Well I do have a flat stomach but not very toned, I have thick thighs and ass but I don't want to loose weight but tone my body.. Would I need to diet also on top of exercise. I don't eat junk food as often also. I'm not fat also , just looking to tone body.

If you want to see better results then yes. But if you stay away from high fatty food and high suger food high in carbs then you should already be good there. You want protiens to build and tone your muscles.

Diet is more important than exercise when it comes to weight loss. As a person builds strength, over time this increases their appetite, to the point that it can erase the weight loss that working out has helped you achieve.
Not sure if srs or just started...
To get toned, you'd have to loose weight. And yea diet is 75% of it
