I have my own hair clipper and I do it myself... got it as a Christmas gift 3 years ago, and it was like 55 bucks. Haven't been to the hairdresser since I've got it and it has saved me lots of money. + it's easier and faster.

When I was teen I tried tio give myself a crew cut, messed it up and just went to the Barber shop to get it fixed

No, I go to a salon. My hair's super long and has a cut to it that I wouldn't have the skill or patience to maintain on my own. I'll trim off split ends if I see them though.

I always cut my own hair. My best friend, and my sister are both hairdressers, but I don't trust any stylist with scissors anywhere near my hair.
