eat less, eat right, lots of water, lots of exercise.
i've been trying this recently and i managed to lose 3kg [almost 7lbs] in my first week. crazy, right?
of course, the body won't burn fat at that speed forever, eventually it will slow down or even plateau, but you can always ensure that eating the right types as well as amounts of foods is basically how u will get results. u can workout all u want but if ur eating like a lunatic you'll get nowhere.

Eat less , rich in nutrients + satisfy yourself with electrolytic drinks , exercise a lot , a big exercise is not necessary but a small one many times will do or , go for jogging with electrolytic drinks and maybe a empty bottle to make sissy electrolytic drinks literally means a lot of urine.
I'm gonna champion Michael Pollan's mantra and say that it all comes down to eating real food, eating mostly plants, and not eating too much (also, not too little!).
Combine that with a healthy amount of exercise and you'll be set.

Stay off bad carbs (100g/day or less) aka eat a lot of veggiesand add weight training with cardio (20mins).
check your thyroid first some people work out and never lose wight because of it.

Run 5 miles or more a day if you can't run then walk it and if you walk try for 10 but if your not in shape your going to be so sore you will have to lay on the couch for the next 2 days
actually strenght training (lifting) works better to burn more calories. a combination of cardio/lifting is even better. and of course real food
caloric deficit, be careful with cutting too much carbs it will affect your mood and may lead to severe depression.
Create a caloric deficit either via cardio or less calories or a combination of both.
There is no easy way. Losing weight is as difficult as gaining especially for someone in your age bracket.
eat only veggies for a week. drink only water. I bet you would lose ten pounds in a week
