How long has it been since you seen the dentist?

Serious question. Sometimes we neglect our teeth... Especially when we dont have insurance coverage.

Less than 6months.

I keep telling myself to make an appointment.

I go every 6 months. I especially have to be regular with dentist visits now that I have braces (my orthodontist makes sure of that), but even before I had them I faithfully went every 6 months. I have insurance coverage, though. My mother, on the other hand, doesn't have insurance coverage and hasn't been in YEARS. Like, at least two decades. The funny thing about that is she's the one with perfectly straight teeth, no cavities, and wisdom teeth that grew in perfectly and never had to be removed.

Hopefully I at least take after her in the sense that my wisdom teeth grow in well, too.

The longer you wait to go, the more expensive it gets because they have to do more.

About a year ago. Fuck the dentist. hurts like a bitch. Also they X-ray me like 20000 times because they can't seem to get the right scan. Thanks for the radiation.
Last time I went, the dentist chipped one of my teeth and I even showed him a picture of me with my teeth intact and he still denied that he did that. Fuck the dentist. Pretty sure he made up some of my cavities too.

Three months. Before that it was two years, so when I went in they had to give me X-rays and a very long cleaning. Fortunately nothing was wrong, but it cost me over $400!

Since the beginning of my braces which is nearly about to hit the two years mark. Since then I have not gone at all, I mean I use to miss much more than that and it never really concerned or affected me.
