if you want to become a good runner you should start with high intensity intervals. it's more effective calorie-burning-wise and it trains you well for endurance because of the way it works your body. I suggest the one that's 2 minutes running 1 minute walking 1 minute running 1 minute walking 30 seconds running 1 minute walking and then back up the pyramid (30 1 1 1 2 1) and start with a 2 minute jog to warm up. if it's too much just take out one of the elves like the 30 second one or walk to warm up instead of jog. it's very effective and you can add more time as you get better. I do it a lot when I want to workout but am pressed for time. hope this helps! :)

There's good health and fitness tracking apps like MyFitnessPal which will help you keep track of what you're doing, what you're eating... and of course you can weigh yourself and watch how your clothes become looser!
the gym is actually a great place to start enhancing your body, plus you may end up liking the results. and a lot of knowledge about weight management and health and growth can be learned from friends you make at the gym. you should at least check it out.

It depends on the purpose of you wanting to work out. Some work out to gain weight, some to lose weight, and yet others want to become muscular/have 6-pack abs.
Best exercise for a man is heavy weights, and best cardio is sprinting. Those build a strong muscular body and increase testosterone levels.
Start walking at a brisk pace for a week. Come back later to see if you did that regularly or not !!
Brisk walking.
