Why do people think girls that look like this are the ideal?

why? all of these women on this site, all of the ones that are considered attractive look so similar

They look plain as fuck to me. Like the typical white chick.
I'd give the first one maybe a 6/10, not ugly, but not "hot" either.
The second girl maybe like an 8/10, she's sexy.
The third girl is not my taste at all. I'd consider her not ugly, but below average. Like a 4/10.

These girls are considered "ideal" by some cuz they have blonde hair, straight or wavy hair, fair skin, and light eyes. But I don't buy that bullshit, a girl could have all that and still be an uggo (like the third girl IMO). Or she could have none of that and still be a smoking hot chick. I don't think there should be any ideals, but eh. Society dictates that, and that may not what we as individuals like, but it's what the collective mass prefers.

My type of girls are not blondies. I think redheads are sexiest. Then black hair, jet black. Then brunettes. Then grey or silver hair. Then blondes. I have odd tastes, but blonde hair is not in my preference range. Not saying blondes are ugly, cuz some are pretty. But they're not my type.

I think these girls are prettier. But these are just my tastes.

the one in the middle is the prettiest in my opinion, but none of them are ugly. they aren't my idea of an ideal woman but I grew up in a different culture so my ideal would reflect that. that being said, I can see the appeal of these women, they look like the typical hot white girl. any girl can be hot if she takes the time to take care of her appearance and body. if girls are complaining and feeling bad about it then maybe they need to work harder

Vapid chicks trying to look pouty and sexy. The second one is prettiest of the three. Ideal? Bleach blonde clones... I don't know about ideal. I see girls like this every day, ever where. More common than ideal, I think. Good on them for finding what works for them, though. :). Many guys love this exact look... and why wouldn't they? Sex sells :)

You really shouldn't be care. It is annoying though. It might have something to do with genetics. Maybe people of German descent find blondes more attractive. (Most Americans are of German descent surprisingly).( And most Germans have blonde hair and the facial features like the women shown). Yeah the media plays a part, but cultural media has more interest in pandering into what people already find desirable, rather than shaping general opinion. (unless the fashion and beauty industry is run by a bunch of eugenicist, who are trying to assert the Aryan bloodline). It could just be blonde with sharp facial features is such an unspecific appearance, that its sort of a common ground of physical attraction. In a way its not the most ideal the media is promoting, its in a way the lowest common denominator. And because these type of faces appear in the media so often people find them more familiar therefore more attractive. But I guess the upsetting part of this is you might think your own appearance is less desirable in general if it doesn't reflect the ideal. Only one person has to find you attractive though.

the one in the middle is cute, the other two are not. again, if it was a different photographer the other two might have been cute and the middle one have not been.

when you said men think, what you actually meant was "what picture of beauty did media have tattoo on our minds". it's all illusion, photography and photoshop. yes some women do have better features that others. But most of it is fake, make up and shit. a woman looks her prettiest when she respects herself and others. she's pretty with her personality and intelligence. her loyalty and love. her kindness and warmth.

Of course looks matter, but everyone is different. My 10 could be Steve's 6. And Steve's 10 might be my 4. Thats one of god's many gifts for us. He made us different with different interests.

And even if i see a girl that i think she's a ten, but i didn't feel any mental connection, then i would lose interest.

1. these girls have on way too much make up. I hate when girls cake it on like that. I know you don't naturally look like that so none of them look appealing at all to me.
2. I saw your women of color comment and how they should be more represented, and I completely agree. I'll be honest though and say that I tend to find more caucasian girls attractive than I do women of color. I can't really explain why, but it's just certain traits I find prettier. It's all a matter of opinion. You con't control what you find attractive.

Beauty is all about proportions: Full lips are attractive, a small nose, etc. Funny thing is that the more average a face is the more attractive the person. Scientists found that by merging a lot of faces together the ending result was more attractive than a person on their own.

I always say this! They all look so similar aswell it always makes me wonder why guys are not attracted to women of color so Asians, black, latinas etc! Like mix it up a little instead of always going for Caucasians. I feel a lot do attempt things with women of colour even though just for experimentation purposes though unfortunately.

What i look for, physically, is the eyes, if they have beautiful eyes, and if they are not a toothpick, but not morbidly obese. Like this quote: "Women without curves are like jeans without pockets, you dont know where to put your hands"

and that is true. but the three you posted, are not an ideal image for anyone I look for.

There attractive because their face and hair are done up and they look clean and presentable in a photo. But in real life it maybe a different story.
