Try it.
Are you strong enough to immediately get out of bed in the morning?
Try it.
Here is the trick : you need adrenaline in your body if you want to jump out of bed in a second if you have not taken a average sleep of 8 hrs. So for your trick either put a spider or cockroach on yourself then jump out. NO, I am just kidding as soon as you wake up do not turn of the alarm soon let it ring. Start taking deep and fast breath for fora minutes like 20—30 breathe , then lay on your chest do 5 push - up. And you are ready you will easily stand up. Get your morning drink do more exercise and no way you will sleep again and better if you find fresh cold air.
I'm a dairy farmer and have to get up real early most the time (sometimes 2:00 am) but yeah it deffinately takes a lot of willpower and does suck but you have so much more time and energy throughout the day. You do still run out of energy but let's say you get up real early, no snooz. And then you take a 20 min nap in the middle of the day, that's about as efficient as you can get
Yeah -.- Sadly
Military man, if something moves, if a door opens in the house, a drop of water in some tap, someone walking outside or in the house, I'm up. I've figured out ways to supress it a little but its still there man, a real pain in the ass. Good thing is I can put my head down anywhere and sleepp but I'll sleep lightly everywhere I do dose off
Most of the time- yes. But then, I'm a morning person to start with and I rarely actually wake up to my alarm, it's only back-up and goes off 2 hrs before I have to leave anyway.
Usually, I get right up, do some stretching, then start my day.
But every now and then, when I'm really tired, or I'm just really warm and cozy and it's freezing cold or storming out, I take an extra 15-20 minutes in bed. I don't hit snooze on my alarm or anything, more in my head and I'll sort of doze for a bit or just lay there enjoying the quiet and the warm, cozy feeling.
I am, I wake up at 4:45
Nice.
That a girl.
Haha she never said am or pm
@glamgamergal I use the 24h not the 12h clock. So when I say "4:45," I'm talking about am, and when say "16:45," I'm talking about pm.
Lol ok

I have an alarm on my iPad that's right on the ground by my bed, I just lean down go to the clock app, and put a timer for 5 more minutes. I go back to bed, I'm in that half awake half asleep, and I know I'll have to wake up so when it goes off again, I get up right away.
It depends.
Through the week I stay with my boyfriend. We set our alarm for 7am, he starts work at 8am, I start at 9:30. So he gets up and has a shower and I stay in bed until about 7:45 - get up to make his breakfast.
At the weekend I start work at 6:30am so I set my alarm about 5:30 and fall out of bed into my uniform and walk to work.
So, I'm more of a snoozer in the week than I am at the weekend.
I try to exercise my willpower so I don't sleep too late, because the next day I can't wake up. I don't even hear the alarm. I 'm capable of waking up and then sleeping again. I can get up and be still in a sleepy state, until I eat breakfast and drink coffee. I need 7,5 hours of sleep to be able to wake up easily.
Yeah that's fun and all but 4.5 hours of sleep makes you more aware because your body doesn't get rested enough, if you do that consistently for about 3-4 days you'll eventually just pass out for 9-10 hours.
But yeah if you do need a snooze every 5 minutes that just disrupts your sleep pattern, you may as well put the alarm to be 30 minutes later.
The moment I woke up - even if it was 3 or 4 in the morning I could not go back to sleep. Once I was up I was up... no morning zombie or non functioning person here.
I definitely think it is better.
I blame my last partner... he was a cronic snoozer and I decided to give it a go and have had serious trouble breaking the habit. It definitely makes you more tired.
It doesn't work consistently.
It depends on which part of my mental cycle I'm in at the time. If I'm in an okay to great feeling, I can get up easily with little pep talk needed.
If however I am in depressive mode, it takes a lot for me to even get up to pee.
When I have to be somewhere, I get up first alarm. But that's generally only when I end up staying at V's house overnight and then have to go get my kid.
Oh hell yeah.
With the help of TECHNOLOGY!
I've set up my laptop to play this video at max volume every day at 5:30AM.
Feels like Superman.
if you want to wake up like a boss try this song instead

No. The only reason I got up was because my dog was trying to take over my bed and push me out of it. Even now I'm eyein' it with all its pillows and blankets and seriously considering snoozing til I have to work at 4. I'm just so not in the mood for wakefulness today.
I usually can get out of bed immediatly especially if I have to work. Sometimes my body just reacts on it's own like I'm jumping out of bed ( in a ninja way) but I'm not even realizing what I'm doing or just opening my eyes :p lol must look weird haha
My friends managed to get me an alarm clock mat for Christmas. I put it by the bedroom door so my getting up is inevitable
Haha nice.
Back when I was in elementary school, middle school, and high school I used to immediatly get out of bed, I had no choice, lol. School was far away and we started it early 8:00 am. I have to admit that Monday mornings were a bit hard for me, lol.
Now I don't need to wake up early, therefore I don't force myself to get out of bed. I take my time to get out of bed.
In the summer I find it easy to wake up and get out of bed, winter not so much... I'll spend anywhere from 5-30 minutes trying to convince myself it's a good idea to leave my nice warm cocoon of bedding.
Haha yes and I sleep 2 hours a night but feel so rested and energetic everytime I wake up to where I'll just pop up out of bed go brush my teeth fix my hair and then start my day
2 hours a night? lol aren't you going insane? Are you losing hair? lol
But you're right. Even if you only sleep 2 hours, you won't feel as tired if you get right up.
It's the snoozing that ironically makes one groggy.
Lol I'm far from insane and my hairs at my boobs so I'm good speaking of that I need to cut it lol but yeah I realized that especially when it would come to school I was a wreck in the morning
Hell yeah!!
It started bout 2 years ago as part of my attempts to get up early to study.
It helped my discipline energy and focus, I now get up at 4 or 5 each day.
Also need less sleep now.4,5 hours is fine.
Sadly no. I usually hit my snooze button about 5 times which has resulted in me being late to work several times. On my day off I sometimes stay in bed until noon
LOL hellll noooooo. i set my alarm an hour early just because i know ill keep snoozing it till i EVENTUALLY have to get out.
lol omg i have to say something. i once walked around the house with this on to wake up my family. I don't know y it cracks me up. i think it's because it's so irritating.

LOL!
i dont mind the thing with getting up in the morning. the only thing that makes me drag around in bed for longer is the fact that my room is ice cold...
Depends on what I have going on that day. If I know I'm doing something good I get up when the alarm goes off but if I know something crappy is coming up I hit snooze a few times.
I don't press snooze because it will make me late. It is hard for me to get out of bed through. I just lay their and try not to fall back asleep. Morning time sucks!
no i have low blood pressure and heart issues. i black out.
this must be something unique to each individual and you're assuming it applies to everyone cuz i feel much more alert and awake if i snooze for 30+ minutes after waking up.
if i have to get out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off i feel groggy a good part of the morning.
Yeah I have enough willpower to get up directly in the morning. :)
But when there's no class... STAY IN BED ALL DAY AND NOT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT IT!!! XD
I was like "I'm definitely going to do this!" When I saw it yesterday then today I woke up and couldn't bring myself to do it lol.
I have my snooze alarm set at 5 minute intervals. It usually takes me about half an hour to get up after the first alarm goes off :(
I seriously gotta try that... I wish I was a morning person. Unfortunately, I snooze for 2 hours and am always late!
I can't afford to not be strong. If I don't get out after my alarm is off.. the chances of me getting out are sub-zero low.
@Are you strong enough to immediately get out of bed in the morning?
Of course. I am not lame. Haha.
No, I have four alarms around the room, all with settings to go off multiple times, then an alarm clock machine that starts making my coffee... Otherwise I'm not getting up.
You're one lazy-ass girl, aren't you? ;)
I set my alarm clock much earlier than I have to so I can keep hitting the snooze button. Eventually I do have to get up because school :(
i can't do it but sometimes set my alarm fro 10 minutes later after the first time it rigged and i do a mistake and fall asleep and wake up late and sometimes get late to school.
It depends if I got shit to do I have no problem getting out of bed but if I dont well then im going to light up a joint poor me a mamosa and go back to bed.
The time my alarm clock rings, I immediately get out of bed! I have never had this problem :D
Yea it's like I can't stay in bed I have to do something active
It's already 4 pm here, I'm out of bed, but I'm still struggling to find the strength to go food shopping :/
Once I'm up, I'm up. Stranger's first rule for overcoming depression: get the fuck out of bed!
I hate waking up but the blaring alarm makes me pop right out of bed.
I always get up right away. I've always been a morning person. :p
I try not to snooze at all but if I do I only use one.
I'd just turn off the alarm clock and go back to bed. I got so good at this that I didn't even need to open my eyes to find my alarm clock.
If I have work I manage to climb out of bed straight away.
Depending on what time I go to bed, I naturally wake up at either 5:30 or 7:30. I don't use an alarm. But when I wake up I get straight out of bed.
That's fortunate.
Yeah, it didn't use to be like that but once j for on a tighter schedule it just sort of happened.
No but i use apollo blue light to keep from falling asleep after waking up
Nope 😂😂😂 it takes me awhile to adjust to waking up 😂
If I need to be at school I can get myself up without an alarm, but if I don't have class I sleep away. So normally I don't use an alarm clock at all.
I have a love-hate relationship with my bed. I cry in it, snuggle with my kitty in it, but always wish my boyfriend that lives a long ways away could be in it. Generally I awaken late and HAVE to get up or else. Xoxo
Of course i can do that... when i am late for school!
Haha there's no way I'm getting out of bed right away... Unless I'm in a huge rush. I lie there for about a half hour.
It is not as bad as you think. I was a huge snoozer (sometimes going 45+ minutes in total). Talk about wasting time. Just try it. Put your alarm far away. You are stronger than you think.
It's weird that since I've stopped masturbating I've had a harder time getting up in the morning lol.
I'm up way before the alarm goes off usually before 5.00 am.
i have been thinking to try that... but i am still thinking about it ahahhaah
Nope. Even the alarm clock away from the bed doesn't always work
I try it every night, I fail everytime. Sleeping only 2-3 hours makes me tooo tired.
Yes because my parents are my alarm.
They make you get up right away?
My dad use to shake me until I wake-up.
*groans* Do I have to?
I'll snooze for 5-10 minutes most mornings
I can't stay in bed soon as I wake im up.
Na, I hardly ever do that
Yes, if I decide the night before
Yeah I am, I usually wake up before alarm go off
I'm pretty alpha I can take it
