This is mainly a girl question.. need help?

Question

Okay, so I am not pregnant.. And it's been over a month (I think almost 2) since I got my period.. What does that mean? I am still a virgin and yet it still won't come.. Except one day I bled for one stinkin day and now it won't bleed anymore! HELP ME PLEASE! I am scared!

it is possible you are stressed hun, relax, you KNOW you aren't pregnant as you say you are a virgin,
if there is no possible way you are pregnant, then the most likely scenario is that you are stressed about something in your life, and your body registered that it was a dangerous time to get pregnant, and so you did not ovulate, another possibility is that you dipped under 100 lbs. as that is about the weight at which the body is able to prepare for an egg. Decide who you trust more, your OBGYN or your regular doctor, go to them, and get an opinion from a medical professional.

Don't worry its normal it can happen if u skip 1 period then its fine, I think its ur age, ur still a teenager where ur body is still trying to adapt to the changes so yeah its fine, it'll be all good when ur 16 then u'd have to worry about periods skipping. As long as you know that u  hadn't  had sex then its all good. But ask ur mom or doctor.

Go to WebMD. com, or go ask your mom. Not people on GAG, who don't know you. She will probably just take you to the doctor, which is the best thing for you

Only a doctor can give you a correct answer but at your age, irregular periods aren't exceptional.

Not having a regular period could be because of a number of reasons. Are you too stressed, do you work out a lot, did you just start a diet or you eat unhealthy food? Or it could be something hormonal. It's better to talk to your mother about it and see a gynecologist if it delays more.

When did you first start getting your period? Periods usually don't become regular for another year or two after your first one. I've had mine for about 3 or more years now and I still only get it every few months.

My friend is just like this. She is very athletic and always pushing herself to the limit. She takes different types of pills. I think all those things are contributing factors. Don't freak out, just consult your doctor

You might have an irregular period or you could be anemic. Some women have 45 day cycles. But best answer is from a gynecologist. Get two different opinions from doctors though.

Puberty, stress, medications, drug use, smoking, overexercise, poor nutrition and eating disorders are common causes for irregular periods. You should maybe go see a doctor if you want to make sure everything's alright :)

Its normal that younger girls have irregular periods. I was the same but now everythings regular and normal. Dont panic.

Are you underweight? If a woman becomes unhealthily underweight she can stop getting her period.
