I was diagnosed three years ago with anorexia subtype binge/purge.
How do you tell a guy something like that? I really don't want to scare him away.
Dont ell him until you are comfortable around him, firstly. Secondly tell him that you really don't want him to freak out, and that you are going to try to change. Be careful, though, because there is a chance this may get around as a rumor in school. He should realize that anorexia is a very very serious thing. If he's worth your time he'll understand
It's all about the timing. You don't ewnt to do it too soon into a relationship but don't esit too long

Wouldn't he be able to just see it?
Since my weight is restored, you can't actually tell - by looks. But I do get the anorexic habits such as counting calories, restricting, purging, binging, and playing with the food. (Thanfully it's not like this all the time)
Not really not all people who are anorexic are sickly skinny. Not to mention some people are unconsciously discreet. They move the food on their plate around, say they ate earlier, "eat" alone, etc. not to mention some time we see each other so much that we stop paying attention and noticing little things
I see, tell him when you feel comfortable around him. Also, please try to get help before this becomes really bad.
