Question

Just came back from my 3PM breakfast (don't ask) , and oh god... I had 2 plates of bacon and a plate of sausages and 7 pancakes... I've never felt so hungry in my life but it just tasted so damn goooood. 

I haven't had bacon in months , even been dissing it. Now that I tasted it again it's like SUCCUBUS man , I couldn't stop eating.

Now I feel fat and ugly and guilty. 

The taste of the forbidden food. I tasted it , I sinned master mentzer. Please forgive me.

I have had plenty of food binges over my lifetime, but now they are scheduled binges that are calculated and guilt-free.

The only reason bacon would be considered bad is if you're following the traditional "1st Law of Thermodynamics" model to dieting, which technically works if strictly obeyed, but it doesn't take into account the flexibility (or lack of flexibility) of the human metabolism.

Bacon is actually great if you're ketotic, because you've adapted to burning ketones as energy and not glucose. In that case, bacon runs right through you and it's the pancakes you should be regretting bigtime.

Since you train and I'm assuming you're not insulin resistant this doesn't apply to you. I just thought it was worth noting when I saw bacon and regret, which doesn't always have to be the case with the right macros.

Always. I try not to tell myself that I can't have certain things because then my brain will go into overdrive thinking about it lol. But I try to have a cheat day every week. This past one I pigged out on pizza and I felt like shit afterwards. It was so good but made me feel so bad.

I feel like that all the time. If I eat anything I don't make myself I feel awful. My friend bought me vegan Indian food I are a little bit and just drank water, it's going to make me fat and I'm going to break out so eating it wasn't enjoyable at all

Dude, cheat days are the answer. One day a week have what you want, every other day, keep it very strict. You can still have bacon--just once a week, lol

It actually helps lose fat too, since it tells your body that the "famine" is past and that it doesn't have to retain fat. Your bacon and pancakes can help you stay slim.

When I binge it's usually on glazed donuts.. I don't do it often but when I do I always feel so awful and sluggish after I down the whole box.. In my head I'm like "ugh I wanna die!"
