Right now when your mouth is closed, do you keep it tightly shut or do you keep a slight space between your lips?

Weird question! But quite curious. I personally keep a veryslight space between my lips, when I shut it tight all the way it feels uncomfortable and stressful on my jaws.

Try slipping your pinky finger between your lips. If you have it completely shut tightly, your pinky won't slip through. If you keep a space, you can squeeze it in there

I'm usually not so self-aware of what my face is doing! I actually had to think about it!

It varies for me I guess. I think I normally have my lips closed. But when my lips are closed, it does not always mean my teeth are clenched together, so it is not strenuous on my jaw at all.
