You lose about a pound for every 500 calorie deficit , bc tissue is bound in water. Whenever you lose mass you are losing water with it.
That's why losing five pounds in the first week of a diet -or day of a fast -is typical , even though you didn't actually lose 17,500 calories worth of fat - 5 pounds.
So you should be able to go down about a pound or so if you cut your carloeue consumption by 30%. Or not that much depending on how much you eat.
So you won't be starving or eating crazy foods or taking sweat baths which dehydrate you and make you weak - don't do that!!!
Just make sure your food is concentrated in nutrients since you're eating less if it. No junk. Though that's probably not something you need to be told:)
There is this thing called "Fast cardio". I do it twice a week. Its where you get up in the morning and drink some water. Don't eat anything! Go and do your daily work out. I personally get on the elliptical for a half an hour then do push ups, sit ups, crutches and whatever for the other thirty minutes! Then eventually I get hu gry and eat a lean meal. It works!
you won't lose a lbs of fat in in that amount of time, most likely. take an alcohol bath.
@mutedaisy soaking your body in isopropyl alcohol will drain all the water from your system.

Honestly weight fluctuates so much that it's hard to guarantee loss of a pound. Your best bet would probably be to eat light food for the next couple days (avoid bread and pasta and other heavy carbs) and don't eat anywhere near bedtime (if you sleep at 11 don't eat later than like 6-7).
Do not eat before bed. Eat SALMON! For 3 days. Try to avoid fast food and bread!
I can't eat salmon. I'm allergic to fish...

Saturday. But since my school is hosting the meet, we're weighing in the night before
Basically cut out carbs starting Thursday night. From lunch on limit water. Weigh in then carb up and drink.
Probably overkill but whatever.
