Drink a fuck ton of water. Literally try to drink enough that it makes you less hungry.
Stay away from any pressed oils (fry oil=terrible, olive oil=almost as bad, oil from meat=eating every day will still have negative effects.
Eat grains. Bread, rice, vegetables stay far away from sugar. Go on a sugar detox while you're at it you'll thank me, I'm not exaggerating when I tell you, just 3 days of trying your hardest to go without sugar will feel amazing if you already take in a lot.
And also stay away from dairy.
If you're mildly active you won't have to worry too much about fats as long as you adhere to this strictly and lean away from meats as needed.

Fiber, protein, carb nothing more than 2 cups a day? 2 cups of fruit 2 cups of veggies 2 boiled eggs. 2 servings of nuts. Take multi vitamins 9 am. Fatty acid / fish oil 9 am 6 pm. And digestive enzymes if needed 9 am 6 pm.

Eat vegetables, and only something more substantial once a week and in small amounts. Like half a hamburger or a hot dog. Only that and only once a week, otherwise drink water and eat vegetables
I wrestled 4 years in highschool and had to lose 11 lbs. once. In the process of 2 months, I lost that and only missed one day of school puking my guts out.Cut portions in half…eat on bread plate. No carbs includes frozen foods, fast foods, snack aisle, beer aisle, high protein intake and cardio exercise
Eat healthy and exercise. 3 lbs is not a lot of weight.
Count calories and exercise every day. But don't starve yourself.
