One main thing I f***ing hate

When I have the misfortune to catch a glimpse of those awful teenybopper tv shows will all their perfect little 14 year old characters. You have the hot girl the hot guy a jock here and nerd there maybe a comic or two. And then of course you always have to have the poorly dressed over weight slovenly guys with the IQ of a used piece of dental floss. Because we all know being overweight means that you're a stupid sloppy person. Gawd society p*sses me off.

I hate that too. It's not even just the teenybopper shows, it's the media in general. I hate how they portray the overweight girl as either the funny fat sidekick that is there simply for other's amusement and has no life of her own, or the desperate girl who eats all the time. I'm fat and I don't eat all the time and I'm not obsessed with food, nor am I desperate for male attention. Or the mean fat girl who is bitter because of her looks. I'm not mean! It makes me want to lose weight so I won't be considered in that way.

Society is built around stereotypes and it sucks. Most tv shows are the way you described because it's the norm, it's 'safe' for producers to stick with characters people know or could relate to. Basically stereotypes are the staple food of tv production.

Yeah, they suck. I avoid them all together. I hate reality shows too. I pretty much watch Dexter and sitcoms from the '90's and early '00's.

Also, does a used piece of dental floss have a lower IQ than an new piece of dental floss?
