Alcohol is far worse. It can impair you much more than marijuana. With marijuana, you can only get so high but with alcohol you can get completely blown away. Alcohol is also much worse for your health long-term. It can affect your heart & liver. Nobody has ever died from marijuana use but thousands, maybe even millions, of people have died from alcohol. Alcohol is also more addictive. Marijuana really isn't even that bad for you, the worst thing about it is that it impairs your short term memory a bit. It also has plenty of benefits to go with it, like helping with nausea and preventing certain types of cancer.

Alcohol. Marijuana's literally never caused a death, it's not poison, you don't get hangovers, it doesn't cause blackouts, the worst decision you could possibly make while high is probably eating an entire bag of chips to yourself. Bad things are just more prone to happen when you drink alcohol, at least when you're high you're still able to rationalize and make responsible decisions.

Definitely alcohol and it's not even an opinion. Alcohol causes roughly 80,000 deaths a year here in America, while marijuana is pretty much stuck on "ZERO" in the death count. Alcohol also destroys your liver and puts you at high risk of cancer. Marijuana has minimal health effects. Alcohol can also cause risk-taking behavior in general; while this doesn't apply with marijuana.

I would agree with that. But second-hand smoke from marijuana is worse than second-hand smoke from cigarettes... because you still get the "dumbing down" mental effects. It sucks.

I absolutely hate marijuana, so it's really hard for me to hang out with a few of my friends if they were just smoking it in their house or something.

Marijuana is terrible for you. It's highly carcinogenic, very bad for your heart, and adversely affects your your cerebral cortex (so essentially, it slowly makes you stupid).

Alcohol is even worse. It can have a negative effect on basically the entire human body except, oddly enough, for hearing. The withdrawals (DTs) from alcohol can also potentially be deadly, something true of no other major drug (including heroin).

marijuana because although alcohol is worse health wise, weed is easier to abuse it has no hangover and can affect your mental state, achievements, finances, relationships because you do it all freakin day!. I've just seen a few people get very addicted and it can be detrimental, for the folks who can casually have a few puffs now and then its different.

Actually, this is false, and I don't even smoke. That's only for people who DO smoke all day. I'm sure if you were to drink all day, your mental state, achievements, finances, relationships, etc would be affected as well.

yes i agree but because of the hangover its not very common, marijuana dependency is very common and i have many life experiences with this and i have been an avid smoker so i don't speak with hate, but from experience and what i have witnessed in people, some of the people that are the closest to me, this is my opinion, take it or leave it, false to you real to me.
