That depends on whether your calves are big because of fat or because of muscle. Try pinching your calf skin. If you can't really grab any skin, then it's muscle, if you can then it's fat. You can't lose fat from a specific body area, you lose it from all over, so diet and exercise. If you have big calf muscles, then there's not a lot you can do. The only thing I can think of is long distance, low intensity running, it will wear down your muscles.
I think it's my actual structure as opposed to fat & thanks for the suggestions! :) I've been doing long distance running for a little while so hopefully it'll help :)
Walk and run less. And lose weight - in general - since you can't lose weight exactly on one spot on your body - impossible.

if its due to genetics then seriously stop trying because its pointless to try and be something that you're not.
just focus on getting healthy and whatever your body looks like once you have achieved that goal, accept it. that is who you are.

Size of your calves is genetics mostly. You'd have to lose overall weight to thin down your calves.
You can also try defining/toning them. Things like calf raises (seating/standing), squats, and lunges

Eat less and don't exercise. I personally don't find skinny legs attractive. It gives the impression that they don't eat or exercise enough.

I've just been doing basic exercises to stay in shape while at college (didn't have much time), lol :) How much cardio would you recommend for slimmer calves? :)
Running is normally the best way to slim that part down. Also I heard that doing Pilates helps with that as well. When i'm going to workout I normally get ideas and watch FitnessBlender from youtube. https://www.youtube.com/user/FitnessBlender
