How to keep myself motivated for losing weight?

One mistake many people make in an effort to lose weight and most importantly, maintain that weight loss, is by creating unsustainable and completely impractical workout routines/diet plans.
It's much better to have a small amount of exercise, even if it's just a kilometre long jog or a 30 minutes walk a couple of days per week versus one insane HIIT session once a month. Make it practical; something you can do regularly, without completely burning yourself out and mkaing you dread a workout of any sort. Actually enjoying it is very important.
With the dieting part, small changes will get you further. Don't cut entire meals or foodgroups, like getting rid of ALL carbs. Just lower the amount- carbs only for breakfast, or no carbs after lunch.
Once you make your approach to weight loss more practical and manageable in terms of your enjoyment as well as life-style, you should see minor results within about 2 weeks. Maintaining and furthering these results should become motivation in itself.
It takes about a month for new habits to form. So you have to constantly remind yourself that the cravings you have will go away if you are persistent. It helps to not buy unhealthy foods. Always keep your fridge stocked with healthy foods and don't allow yourself any cheat days whatsoever.
Work your way into it. Losing weight and living healthy is a lifestyle, not an activity. Don't suddenly jump one day to being super healthy. When you separate living healthy and living unhealthy, then living unhealthy will be something to come back to.
Start skipping dessert every other day. Every now and then, substitute French fries for an apple. Drink a soda a day instead of 2.
Take time to adjust living healthy. It's not something you can just jump right into or else you'll be tempted to jump right out again. 180 degrees from crazy is still crazy.
It's actually pretty easy. I eat unhealthy from time to time (don't eat a hamburger everyday), but I make sure I have 3 portioned meals a day with snacks in between. Also, people often overlook the "8 glasses of water" a day rule, and that's literally the most key thing in weight loss. Also, if running isn't your thing, try doing 1-3 hour walks at night or in the morning. All you mostly have to do is eat right and drink plenty of water.

Don't aim too high. Stick to a lifestyle and exercise regimen you can handle - something not so difficult or restrictive that you give up right away and then slowly work your way into something more difficult and restrictive as your body and mind adapt to the new changes in your lifestyle.
Don't sell yourself short. Keeping up with it for weeks is already a great start. Give yourself a cheat day to eat some goodies (moderately, don't eat 5 large pizzas) about once a week. Take baby steps, find workouts that are fun (sports are my favorite), and make friends that like to work out. You'll see it helps in the long run
Hm, get a workout buddy so exercising will be fun instead of a "duty." Also, make sure you know exactly why you want to lose weight. The purpose is everything so make sure you have a good purpose (like i want to be able to help more people instead of I want to help myself). That way, you'll always be working out.
I stopped eating unhealthy stuff and just got used to it. now it's a daily thing just to eat better and to avoid high sugar, and fat stuff
