Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of acne/acne scars?

I have had acne since I was 13, not super bad but annoying enough, and have tried pretty much everything. It all works for a while then stops or I have to keep using it all the time. Recently I have been using a prescription medication but it totally makes my skin dry and flakey so I only use it as a spot treatment.

Does anyone, preferably anyone around my age, know of anything good that would wprk and I don't have to use forever?

You have to go to your dermatologist for this. That treatment you use was supposed to be spot on (I probably know what you use. It's to make your skin thinner so the acne will get more shallow to your skin. That's why your skin gets flakey). Wash your face twice a day at least. Also scrub your face once in a while. I'm not surebif you're already on it, but you could consider going on anticonception pill. Acne is mostly a consequence from hormones. The pill will take care of those.

Stop using perscription meds for acne, they suck and they don't really help in the long run. All you need is a good face wash like Cetaphil Face Wash and a Mostiorizer, sounds simple but it works

Do you have a good diet? A lot of bad acne stems from dieting issues. I honestly recommend drinking a shit ton of water and cutting out sugar potent drinks.

Im not bashing anyone like around the age of 13 or anything but does anyone over the age of 13 like understand why the hell gag is being used as a skin treatment and question center for children under the age of 15?

there are also natural oils that can help regenerate new skin.

Castor oil. But it is thick so you will need to add a bit of it to your moisturiser cream to apply on face.

No it doesn't. The only thing that made my skin bad was those creams i used that had loads of ingredients in it.
