How many miles should I run daily to lose weight fast?

Are you in running shape? If you're not, the answer is zero, because all you're going to do is injure yourself and then not be able to work out at all.

Walk first thing in the morning for an hour on an empty stomach. Eat 300 calories below your BMR on a daily basis, but make sure you are still getting a full serving of protein and fats, just cut out carbs. Significantly increase your water intake, and get more sleep.

Weight loss is a result of calorie deficit not of exercise. Exercise just helps to create one. In terms of how fast, speed should not be a concern. Weight loss is one area where you really do need to take your time. Nothing fast is safe or sustainable.

Main thing is that you run in the fat burning zone. Check what heart rate you should have for your age to do so. And you need to run for appr min 20 min to start fat burning. Use that as a guide line.

3 miles/day is good in my opinion... or 6 miles walking :)
