Do you need to see a doctor?

No one should be asking gag if they should go see a doctor. Why are people so unsure of themselves.

Sometimes symptoms are serious and people ignore them, and other times people freak out over usually normal body reactions.

Everyone knows GaG isn't the place to get medical advice.

But it's good to compare symptoms before having to head to the doctor and pay for a visit.

I've asked a question before about something that was happening to me, and I was gauging if it was normal or abnormal.

Don't judge everyone so harshly.

There is nothing wrong with calling it as I see it. As for the people its a redundant question the individual is in charge of their body, I think if less people were asking these questions on gag things might actually help their condition; it is more of an attention seeking question since no one can really give advice practically no one is a medical professional here. I am training for EMS yet I cannot diagnose like a doctor can. If it is post diagnosed then perhaps that might make sense to see what others experienced with that issue.

In my opinion most people are gauging if their symptoms are normal or not, not asking for a diagnosis.

Maybe you scan the health section more, and I'm wrong, but the questions I see aren't asking what the condition is. Instead, I see questions about 'is this normal' And yeah, some people troll and some can't use common sense. But not everyone deserves the wrath you're dishing, haha.

The wrath I'm dishing? The worst I can do is judge someone and put the caps lock on. Thats not wrath its just speaking my mind. Being angry at someone is overrated especially on the internet.

Maybe because they aren't sure if it's serious or not and don't want to go to the doctor unless they think it is?
Honestly, I hate going to the doctor.
I only go if my friends or family nag me about it.

Well if it is different than a normal bodily function you see everyday then yes it is important you see a doctor. You should be seeing a doctor even if it is minor.

Lol I don't need to see one I've got a unnaturally strong immune system. Haven't been to the doctors for sickness reasons in about a decade. Haven't taken antibiotics in 20 years lol.

Most though when they worry they look at stuff online and then they see symptoms and well then there mind process the dozens of things that could be wrong with them lol.

keep in mind, going to see the doctor tends to cost money for americans. For me it wouldn't be an issue seeing the doctor because its already covered for in my taxes. So people just don't want to go to the doctor if they dont have to

Because they should be able to decide that for themselves, in an extreme case... some murderer just stabbed you in the gut then ran. Do you ask gag weather you should just call 911? I can guarantee that people won't care about what happens happens then.
