Big calves, any tips?

I'm trying to get really nice legs and big calves. Any tips?:)

squats is your friend. Just don't botheer with small weights. You will need propper recistance! Hill climbing (i mean real hill climbing, not the machines) with a heavy backpack will work excelent too. Some form of lunges work too.

If ANYONE tells you to do deadlifts with straight legs, tell them fo F**K off. That excercise will just mess up your back real good

Just don't forget about your core body. You can never get too good there.

I'd say 1 day core body, 1 day full body (a bit of every muscle group), and 1 day focus on calves/hips/butt. This way you will get a nice balance.

Jump-rope. Your calves might not get engorged like they would through heavy weight lifting... but they will absolutely pop. And what you can do with them will amaze you. So good for agility and coordination. Plus your cardiovascular system with thank you. Basically, you'll be able to run up stairs like you wouldn't believe, and look good doing it.

What I do if I'm working out with my boyfriend is have him hop on my back and I lean forward and use a table to support me. Then calf raises!

Adding size to a muscle means doing strength training exercises that hit failure in the 8-12 rep range while eating at a surplus.

calves do standing calf raises, seated calf raises, leg press, box jumps.
