It's never too old to fix your teeth because your smile says a lot about you. An I'm assuming your aim is to have teeth forever and I think you want those teeth to be nice. My dad was too poor growing up to get his teeth done and didn't get them don't until about 38. He says he doesn't regret it because now he can look in the mirror and feel confident. He also says that people remember him because he has a nice smile. It's never too late to improve/better yourself
Also have you ever considered getting porcelain veniers my dad got them and loves them.

My literature teacher was about 40 and she had them and I think it looked kind of cute lol

By the time I was 40 I was making good money but I had always had crooked teeth. I figured it was holding me back in advancement at that point. I had almost all of them crowned. I am really glad I did. I have also seen some people that were at least in there 30s with invisible braces. Go for it.

It's not a age thing, ya get them to fix your teeth, so when ya do it is irrelevant.
