Girls, I'm 15 and haven't had my period in three months but I'm a virgin and have never had sex.. What is going on?

I got my period when I wa sin fifth grade and its always been slightly irregular but never like this... Is this bad?

It's generally not great when your period skips but it doesn't necessarily mean that something is wrong. If I were you, I'd ask your mother to go to the doctor with you about it or I'd speak to someone in your school, if you have a school nurse or a student relations person, and see what they recommend.

I told my mom and she said that when she was younger she would go 4-5 months without getting a period and she was fine.. Could this be like genetic?

Possibly. I guess just explain to your mother that it's distressing you a little and that you'd really prefer to have a professional diagnosis. If you do go and see someone then there might be something they can do to try and get your periods regular again.

The same happens to me. Honestly, I find it a gift and a curse. Sometimes it's good because you don't have to worry but it becomes unpredictable and comes at inconvenient times. Honestly, mine comes every few months and im fine so you should be too. I did research and it's pretty normal apparently.

Happen to me before. I have a very irregular cycle. Definitely recommend going to the doctor, it could be a clot, which is not good, but easier to remove then if you keep waiting.

Literally all the blood that's suppose to be coming out is building up, into a blood clot. Talking cycle wise, they usually do come out. But, there are some instances where if you don't get them removed then they can turn into cancerous cells.

I'm not a doctor, but you should definitely see on just in case. Most likely it's just a big clot of blood blocking the exit, which sounds gross, I know, but it's really easy to remove by docs. Better safe then sorry.

It sounds like you're just irregular. It's completely normal as a teenager. I don't think it hurts to talk to the dr about it though.

Are you underweight? Have you lost or gain lots of weight lately? Have you been sick lately? Have you gotten enough sleep?

I think you should see your doctor just on case.
