Taking Acne Pill?

I've heard of people taking a pill (not birth control) and their acne going away. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and what pill they took?

First, Retin-A is a great help if you do not use it. It is prescription. It is a steroidal creme.
Wash with dandruff shampoo. Tanning will help (UV kills bacteria).
I dont know which pills you are referring to. I know that antibiotics are prescribed and then there is Accutane but I think it has been discontinued. Birth Control pills are said to be of great help since they mittigate hormonal swings.

Honestly, I took prescribed acne pills for about two months and didn't do jack shit. I was pissed because it was such a waste. They do work on some but not on all I guess. I found other ways to keep my acne under control

i had bad chin acne because I'm very oily. i take this pill called roaccutane and now i still get acne sometimes but it's only around that time of the month. try some antibiotic like cindamicyn, it works for me too ! :)
