Weight obsession?

I am about 117 pounds and 5'6, and I'm 3 months pregnant...is this too fat? I was 115 before I got pregnant and I increasing my calories by like 400. I only gained 2 pounds.

That's not fat at all, I don't really know much about pregnancy but I'd imagine you can gain a lot more than that. If you're going to worry about your weight though, do it when you've finished breastfeeding. The baby will be malnourished if you do it while you're pregnant, and your milk won't be as nourishing for the baby if you diet while you're breastfeeding. Your child will be much healthier, probably for its entire life, if you wait until you're done breastfeeding to think about losing weight.

You really shouldn't be worrying about how fat you are looking when you are pregnant. Your baby needs to be kept safe and healthy. Like make sure you are getting your vitamines, and a good supply of healthy foods. Just take care of yourself and your baby.

Just don't have weight obsession while carrying the baby!

5'6"/117 is skinny. Calculate your BMI and check what it should be during pregnancy.
