Why did my doctor keep "correcting" me?

My nuts were hurting a couple days after a dude kicked them in soccer, so I went to the doctor and told him my nuts still hurt some. He kept correcting me, saying "your testicles". I'm like, dude, whatever. My nuts are sore.
Why did he keep telling me "testicles"?
