I wasn't even my mother's height (and she's 5'4) and definitely not size 9 shoes. When I found this picture not so long ago, I was actually surprised that I was even shorter than I thought.

Most girls typically stop growing at 16, not sure if when her period hits if that's any kind of indicator or not.
Also is that you mum there? Because you look almost the same height as her, not sure if that would make you short for 11.
I grew a foot in one year of highschool, before that I was fairly short, girls usually get taller at a younger age however.
Yes that's my mother. She's 5'4 and I ended up being 5'7. I was just impressed that I was still shorter than her when I got my period... like 5'2 at the time.
There was this general rule that a girl only grows an inch or 2 after getting her period; either that or stays the same. In my case that would be like 5 inches.
It dose make sense if after hitting puberty girls generally stop growing, guess you got lucky.
Definitely not short, coming from a 5"3 Asian girl. :P
Thanks. Just that I've always heard that when a girl gets her period, she usually grows 2 inches or stays the same but doesn't have a sudden growth spurt. In my case, I must have been probably like 5'1 in that picture.

Not short at all!
Thanks. It's just surprising that my height from the time I got my period wasn't even one bit close to my adult height. I must have been probably like 5'1 in that picture. Usually I've heard that when a girl starts her period, if she grows she isn't going to have such a growth spurt of more than 3 inches of difference.
