Its not too bad, but I can feel it when I flex those muscles.
Can I get back to it today?
I've do that more often than I should but it's all about going at a slower and moderate speed and intensity because you've already over worked that particular muscle group. You don't want to over do it and cause an injury.
oh okay, Thanks.
I just started working out lol. And no.
look up "active recovery" if you like what you read then go for it, but don't go heavy.
or just rest longer.
either way is fine.
I think I'll just wait one more day.
in my opinion, don't do active recovery. It was popular in the 90s, but can lead to injuries.
@ConsultantIsBack this guy knows @asker
I would say keep doing them and make a routine. It was same for me when I started working out and found out that I was pushing my body to hard. So start with less number of squads and build your way up gradually.

It's good to feel sore. I usually do training when I feel sore to break the muscle fiber in order to build a stronger fiber. Eat well and sleep minimum 7 hours per day.
If your going to gym and you are feeling that you are doing the exercises wrong, just stop. You'll get an injury eventually and that will be bad. You can also do bodyweight exercises when you feel very sore to break the muscle.
Train smart, eat well and sleep !
If you're sore you already "broke" the muscl fiber by the way. Thank you tho!
Yeah, if you're only a little sore, you should be fine to work out.
Thanks 😊
Yes, but stop if you feel legitimate pain. Also don't work same muscle groups on back to back days.
I just attempted but my glutes are more sore than I thought. I guess I'll wait, but I feel like being sore after 4 days is weird...
Being sore for more than 1 or 2 days means 1) your body is literally transforming and creating muscle structure, rather than being sore for building additional muscle. And 2) you probably aren't eating enough protein!
After my workout I had an Ensure, a ham and cheese sandwich and a couple hours later some yogurt. I think that's enough protein for post work out. But since then I've been eating normally, I'm not sure if I've gotten enough but I think I have. I eat meat everyday.
Maybe its because its the first time I've worked out in a looong time
OK if you ate eating a lot of protein yes it's the first reason, keep up the good work!
Thanks ~
