Does the military diet actually work?
https://themilitarydiet.com/military-diet-plan/
It does not work long-term. Most people gain the weight right back, especially since you mostly just lose water weight. Losing that much weight is not healthy and the program will most likely damage your metabolism, making it a lot slower and therefore easier to gain weight when the program is over. There is no quick fix to lose weight, and the ones that are are just gimmicks. The goal is to be fit long-term, rather than become stuck in a cycle of yo-yoing. Just work out and eat clean, but don't starve yourself or overexercise.
2 tablespoons of peanut butter on only one slice of toast bread omg that would be like 2 cm thick 😖
First of all, that's not nearly enough calories. Your body is most likely going to go into starvation mode, making it difficult or impossible for you to lose any weight. Secondly, the page says you can lose up to 10 pounds in a week, which is not possible. Losing one pound requires you to burn 3500 calories; how are you going to burn 35,000 calories in a week? That means you have to burn 5000 more calories than you eat EVERY DAY.
I would advice you to contact the https://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/ that is
the American Heart Association or you could contact your local hospital
and ask them to send you a diet they recommend for reducing calories
and losing weight.

Not a fan of this diet. Funny how many people want to find "diets" that work to lose weights, when diets are temporary.
Slight calorie deficit, more veggies, more real food and less processed food, moderate everything else, break a sweat every day
You'd lose weight on it, but it sure isn't a military diet... basically they cram you with a ton of calories as opposed to almost zero reason being, you'll need it.
The military diet is not a military endorsed diet and is actually extremely unhealthy and self destructive, encouraging disordered eating. Moderate calorie deficit works best.
It will work because you've created a huge calorie deficit but it will also make you weaker because of the deficit
My sister did it and it worked for her big time but you got to be careful because you become more weaker and vulnerable
Uhhhhh sorry to burst your bubble hun but that is not military diet.
Try joining the army and having MRE's :'D
You do know the military doesn't actually really have a diet they just eat healthy, lots of protein, calcium etc.
10 lbs per week is extremely unhealthy and can lead to organ damage/failure and WILL result in muscle loss.
1 to an absolute maximum of 2 lbs per week for weight loss. Anything more is dangerous for your health and fitness.
A friend told me that in boot camp they give you food with a lot of saltpeter.
that looks like a recipe for no bland taste buds... it might work but doesn't look filling... how old is this diet? they have changed the average military diet over the years
I would do that on top of intermittent fasting...
IF is the way to go
Never tried it. You need to , lose 10 pounds fast? SO try it then
Eat less, and swim 1 - 2 km per day.
I don't live by a pool...
Read to be constipated lol
Dat daily veggies.
Diets usually don't work
