How do hygienic people keep their fingernails so well maintained?

The people who really care about their hygiene keep them perfect so there is no white part showing ever. How do they do that? Guys and girls.

I clip mine about once a week. I use a nice pair of curved toenail clippers I got at one of my girlfriend's favorite stores (Ulta) and do it very carefully so there are no corners or jagged edges. After clipping them, I file the edges smooth. This prevents them from feeling rough and catching on anything, and it makes them slightly shorter and just neater looking in general.

I got very picky with my fingernails when I first got together with my girlfriend. I hurt her in a sensitive area with rough nails during sex. I went and bought the fancy clippers and a file immediately after.

Also, shower and wash your hands regularly. Keep your nails clean, and they will look good.

I have eczema all over my fingers soi have other issues.

Yes, that does present more of a challenge to you. My girlfriend actually has eczema on her arms. She says that UV light used to help with that when it was bad. Apparently, taking measures to keep skin moist apparently helps as well. But I'm sure you've researched treatment already?

I didn't come here for advice on Faith. I've heard it many times from various sources. I went to church every Sunday for seven years, and participated with a youth group and other activities with Christians at a nearby college. I went to bible studies and prayed. I opened my mind and my heart... But, we all have different journeys. Mine is clearly different than yours. I was miserable and depressed when I went to church and hung out with other Christians. Maybe at this point, I only believe in the things I can see and touch. Other than that, I'm just not sure about things. But, I have a lot of years to go.

Maybe I just didn't share the same beliefs as everyone else. And I generally felt like an outcast.

A friend brought me to church on my 16th birthday, after I had been helping at their community suppers for several months. I just went to be with my friend. I decided to stick around, and I went through ups and downs with faith over the next several years.
