the body metabolizes different things in different ways. when you eat "healthier" food, your body processes it and metabolizes the good things and stores them for immediate or later use, giving you the possibility of showing the small weight gain.
when you take in "unhealthy" foods like sugars and fats, the body metabolizes them without retaining any unecessary stores. it naturally cleanses itself after realizing that there is no benefit to holding onto it. be careful with things like fast food/high in fat because they can make you sick, especially in large or continued amounts because they can essentially poison the body with the chemicals they contain. this is easily seen in the stomach where chemical digestion begins.
BE THAT AS IT MAY: you should also be aware that your body wieght can naturally vary up to 5-7 pounds a day! You could have just found different days where you were up once or down another. these differentiations are normal. the best way to get the most accurate and consistent way is to weigh yourself completely naked right after you get up in the morning, before you've had any sort of food or excessive amount of fluids that can make your body bloat because it's been on a fast all night and will retain it immediately to replace what you lost overnight.
