Definitely pro-choice.
Aside from the issue I have with stripping women of all reproductive rights and holding them prisoners in their own bodies, reverting to the desperate acts committed in the past, to terminate pregnancies, that endangered women's lives, and the fact that I disagree with abstinence, I think pro-life legislation is unethical and harmful to children.
I sometimes wonder about the intellectual capacity of pro-lifers, or whether or not they have just lived incredibly sheltered lives, that they haven't seen the psychological damage that abandonment does to children who are born unwanted or to irresponsible, unfit parents. I have seen it first hand in my family and in my work. I don't think I have the kind of broken moral compass it would require to say we should make sure all conceptions result in births and lets just store these children away like merchandise in a warehouse. Lets not care about the fact that the vast majority won't be adopted and will grow up with abandonment issues or behavioral problems. In the name of (Insert "god" or whatever other self-centered conservative basis here), all these children will be born. Children to drug addicts with no intention of improving, children to abusive parents, children to parents that may likely neglect them and don't want them in the first place. Let them all be born.
No way in hell would I ever be in favor of that. Plus, I'm a feminist, so obvi.
I'm pro choice but not in all situations.
I disagree with these girls getting multiple abortions just because they're too stupid and/or lazy to use contraception, I really really don't like late abortions because you can feel those babies kick when its late and the cut off date is 24 weeks and babies have been born premature at 22-24 weeks and survived.
I also disagree if she's pressured into it because that can fuck her up mentally even more than if she chose to do it.
I don't like abortions, it makes me sad for both mother and baby, but sometimes it really is for the best.
I think both sides are wrong.
I think legal abortion is wrong.
I think illegal abortion is wrong.
One or the other is going to happen. Hiding your head in the sand and pretending it will go away is ignoring reality. It WILL happen. They are both wrong. But if it's going to happen anyway, I prefer it to be legal, regulated, and most importantly, in as clean environment as possible.
Using whatever metal instruments are found in the garage isn't going to get it. Punches to the stomach hoping for a miscarriage isn't going to get it. Taking who-knows-what kind of hocus pocus drugs or poison isn't going to get it. One way or another a girl who is frightened out of her wits and in a panic is going to try.
I will stress that they are both wrong. It's a lose-lose situation. In a perfect world the question should never come up. We should never be put in a position to decide. But we don't live in a perfect world. We live in the real world, and our decisions must be grounded in that world, whether we like it or not.
I'm pro life in 99.99% of situations.
I mean if you want to be "pro choice" then instead of choosing to murder, choose to not sleep around and get pregnant.
Interesting how the same people who are so pro-"life" its really a blob of cells are the first to want to go to war and kill "rag heads" are the ones who #kill abortion doctors and don't give a fuck for the homeless who might #die in the cold are the ones who don't want the government subzidising healthcare or having a single payer system because keeping taxes low is more important than #savinglives instead of rescuing refugees you rather see them #die in a war zone and you carry your gun all over the place proudly because I'm sure instruments are pro-life instruments you only listen to thou shalt not kill when it comes to cells in a uterus but you're the first ones to promote war and death when it's our young men another countries young men fighting and if the president acts diplomatically he's called a pussy on national television for not sending people to #die in a foreign land.
@Nicolás25 I am pro life when it comes to the lives of the INNOCENT.
@Nicolás25 I care about the innocent human beings
@Nicolás25 ... So my opinion about abortion makes you assume all these things about me and what I support or believe? How awesome! Please tell me more things about myself that I don't know.

I'm a pro choice person that wishes that people would normally choose life.
And while I agree with the "woman's choice' part... I think it sucks that men have no say-so in the matter when they are 50% responsible for the pregnancy.
If the mother chooses abortion, the father gets no choice in the matter. If she chooses life without the father, he's legally obligated to pay child support.
pro choice.
Simply because it's a too big question for me to decide for others. I don't know how they feel, the situation surrounding it, or anything!
I believe it is up to the individual to decide. Simply because the individual is the one most capable to give a proper decission based on her own feelings, morals, and all that.
I'm pro choice, but I believe that the government should only pay for it in certain situations like if the woman was raped or honestly can't take care of a child for mental, physical, or financial reasons. Also, there should be a certain point at which you can't get an abortion, before the child is seriously developing.
You cannot draw the line at which life begins.
At the very least, I'm adamantly against late term abortions.
If you want to be specific, when brain activity starts is probably the best way to secularly establish the line.
HOWEVER, because a health fetus is GOING to become a fully functioning human, how can you justify cutting it off beforehand?
If you knew that a person who was brain dead would spontaneously awaken into full activity in a month or two, would you pull the plug? Of corse not.
Pro choice, mostly because it doesn't concern me. Especially in late stages, I am not pro abortion, per se, but I don't care suggest any laws be put in place because there's always that handful of cases where I would regret such laws were ever instituted. And because it doesn't concern me. When it's used as just an excuse to be careless and not use birth control, I'm against it, but think nothing should be done about that because I'm pro it's-none-of-my-business.
Pro-Life, however, in cases that the mother is endangered, cases of rape, incest etc. i'm okay with it.
I'm Pro-wishing for everyone to choose life with.001% exceptions.
The government should not establish any law regarding this very personal matter of conscience.
I'm pro choice 100%. You don't understand someone's circumstances and so many kids are already waiting in the foster care system to be adopted. I just feel like there should not be judgement. If you don't agree with abortion, don't get one :)
Comparing foster kids to newborn babies is pretty irrelevant... apples and oranges there
@rebekahj391 I'm not comparing them? I never mentioned newborn babies. In my opinion there are so many kids in the foster care system that saying people can just put their unwanted children up for adoption isn't exactly the most plausible idea. I apologize for not fully explaining my thoughts
Yeah but there are sooo many families waiting to be placed domestically with a newborn. It sounded like you were suggesting they should adopt a foster child instead.
I don't have an opinion, I believe it's a woman's choice.
@Nicolás25 I dont support abortion, I am also not against it.
@Nicolás25 But if I don't want to slap a label on it, then it's my democratic right to do so is it?
@Nicolás25 Valid point.
Pro-choice. Weird as it seems, I'd like to see less people having children when they can't afford it or don't want it simply because they feel it's "wrong" to terminate a pregnancy before the fetus even grows into a child. So, by that logic, are condoms wrong too?
I'm both, I could never have an abortion and I don't openly support it but I do think women should have the option to have one. I don't expect everyone to think the way I do.
Pro choice. As long as the procedure is safe and legal, then it's up to the woman to decide what to do with her body.
I'd be pro-life (with the exceptions of rape, incest or the mother's life being in danger) if it wasn't for the overcrowding in adoption centers. Since the fetus has a heartbeat, abortion simply because she doesn't want the baby is murder.
Pro Choice.
I don't know the woman and what she's been through. While I may never chose to abort a pregnancy, I think a woman has a right to chose since it is her body.
Pro-choice, but since depression and suicide attempt is more common post-abortion i'd argue against it.
Depression and suicide attempts are more common post-birth, too, just saying.

I'm crossed. On one hand, abortion kills babies, which I like, but on the other hand it gives women a choice, which I hate.
I thought I explained myself.
Wait what? You like killing babies and don't like giving women a choice? I'm confused lol
@Elizabeth21__ Yeah, exactly.
Lmfao. This guy.
@BuchitaBuchys Lol I'm scared for humanity
I'm pro life. What you do with your body is your business
Then that's being pro choice hun
Lol god dammit! That's what I meant. I'm having a terrible day today
It doesn't have to be terrible. Let it be a good day😊
I don't feel it's my choice to tell a woman what to do with her body.
(Sometimes I wish it was, heh heh)
Legal until the 3rd trimester unless there is a life threatening reason.
