Changing gyms is it worth it?

LA fitness probably has better equipment, more room, different faces. Different cultures. more open people... but its so expensive ($40 a month) I pay $15 a month now.. I really love the one i go to now but, I think its time to relocate. Do you think it'll be worth it?

That is completely dependent on your fitness goals. I know people who have no gym membership and stay in great shape just running and doing body weight circuits. Then some prefer swimming or powerlifting which you'd need the appropriate equipment (pool, barbell, weights and rack) I think you can make due with what you have and get creative. You actually don't need any workout machines (track and fixed) you can workout every muscle if you have knowledge of body weight exercise.

bruh, you just have to drive to a different location. that's it. it's not like you're moving. also, la fitness is a joke. you get yelled out if you're too fit and work too hard or lift too much or run too fast.

If your changing for any reason other than better equipment or better trainers then don't. If you want a different crowd change hang outs

I've never socialized with people in my gym. I go in, get on the treadmill, run 5 miles, lift a few weights, go home.
