+1 yI lost 15 pounds when I cut out Gluten. I am Celiac and my figure is bangin', slender and healthy looking. Do H. I. T. T intervals on a treadmill. I do 5 minutes 6 times. I take three minute breaks. I run at 5.5 speed for every other one and then 6.5. Before all of that I lift weights, I spend about 20 minutes doing this I do a ton of diferent techniques. Too many, I do Zumba, Planks, Squats, Cobra/push up plank. Crunch thrusts. laying down of my back, 5 reps/ times. I do 20 of them for each set. I do a twist hip waist thing I don't know what to call it. I'm almost and hourglass. This probably would work for you. :) Good luck be persistent, Postive, Active and have fun. Don't overwork yourself. Invest in nice running shoes/Nike free runners/Asics/Puma? :) My name is Sophie too! :)

The number one tip I've got is to not go on any sort of extreme diet that makes huge changes in your usual diet. That may lead to quick success in terms of dropping weight, but that'll be largely water weight. That sort of weight loss will not be sustainable so you'll gain it plus possibly more right back pretty fast.
Make a lifestyle change to be healthier overall versus starting a diet with the aim of losing weight.20 Reply
+1 yGoogle Fasting Diet to find one that suits you.
Mine was
finding 1-4 hours in a day to at least walk/exercise then worry about calorie intake =
Breakfast - coffee/cream, vitamin cocktail, avocado or egg/toast
Brunch/lunch - iced green tea (all day)
Dinner - cocktail, nuts, one large portion of dinner, large water
Should get you to 10# rapidly, cut out the booze for another easy 5#, step up the exercise to obtain the remainder

+1 yIf you want a no-bullshit diet that actually works, check out Lyle McDonald's "Rapid Fat Loss" program.
Not easy, major suck, but definitely works. Lyle is a hardcore nerd of the human body, and he knows his shit.
That diet is a slightly modified version of the protein-sparing modified fast (PSMF), which has been used in medical contexts for many decades. You can also just google PSMF and go to town on the reading. But Lyle also gives recommendations for timing and workouts, and breaks stuff down based on yr current body type and so forth.
If you are not that extreme, then, basically, the more you can cut out carbs, the better you'll generally do. Be sure to take at least 1-2 days OFF dieting (i. e., eat normal foods) every week or two.10 Reply
+1 yA healthy balanced diet. The 'Stone Age' diet is great.
Breakfast:
Bacon, eggs, fried tomato.
Smoked fish (kippers, mackeral with lemon juice).
Nuts and seeds with soya yoghurt
Lunch:
Cold meat, fish (tinned fish in olive oil is fine), prawns, salami, smoked fish, rusk free sausage (ie 100% meat), avocado
Salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, celery, peppers etc), French dressing.
Green vegetables with nut/seed oils
Home-made soup (made from meat stock, not cubes, only with allowed vegetables).
Nuts and seeds with soya yoghurt
Oatcakes
Supper:
Meat, fish or eggs, green vegetables.
Berries, soya yoghurt.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt wasn't a specific diet per se. Since my mom always suffered from high cholesterol levels we were brought up on a low fat and later low carb diet. I eat junk food maybe 2-3 times per year...
So my diet has always been healthy with a lot of vegetables, herb, nuts and everything but I was on the chubby side. Then I started dancing and later joined a gym and took up swimming 3-4 per week for an hour and started walking around instead of taking the train or bus. That's when I lost 15 kg within 2 years.10 Reply
+1 yThough curves are gorgeous, I did the jiffy diet which is a 24hr regulated diet with strictly no carbs but research it before doing it. It took me down a dress size and when I kept the diet but enhanced it for everyday then I kept the weight off.

yeah the weightloss seems hard to maintain afterwards and how would you re-introduce carbs after a while?
- +1 y
Usually through something like a sandwich filled with salad and protein like chicken breast. Honestly, you can eat all the carbs you want sensibly as long as you work them off within a good few hours of eating them.
When I stopped restricting and counting calories.
I used to obsess and it would only make me feel worse about myself. And me being an emotional eater, feeling bad didn't help at all haha.
So I eat when I'm hungry and eat what ever I'm craving. And also getting all the right foods instead of eating junk. And drinking lots of water.10 Replyevery single calorie restricted diet will work EXACTLY the same as long as you stick to it. when i diet, i diet to lose fat only and spare as much muscle as i can so dieting techniques are really complex, but for you it doesn't matter whether you lose fat or muscle or both..
10 Reply916 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. The Emotional Crisis Diet. A few days before I turned 19, I got my first broken heart and it hurt real bad - I was practically insane with grief and didn't know what to do with myself. I stopped eating. I think I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks.
20 ReplyA healthy one, with little processed food. Don't use crash diets, they only work temporarily. If you want permanent results, you need permanent change.
Exercise is also a huge factor, and helps improve mood, energy levels, and much more.10 ReplyYou can give me the weight if you like ;3

+1 yI'm trying to make myself eat less but if I want to lose 1.5 lbs a week, I have to cut out lunch completely in all practicality. And I'd be starving all the time.
I've tried doing this though and nothing happened.03 Reply- +1 y
yeah i've read starvation diets don't work well. i also read somewhere that having small snacks throughout the day instead of 3 meals helps weight loss but i haven't tried it
- +1 y
Yeah that's what lifters say but I think that'd be hard to pull off with a college meal plan.
- +1 y
thats true :/
+1 yI dropped 20lbs by eating lean protein... Salads no dressings and working out. It took 7weeks. Also cut out sugar and carbs... Drink lots of water too
10 ReplyThe best diet I've ever been on (and continue to be on to this day) was just as easy as cutting all soda from my diet.
10 ReplyWell I've only been on one diet so far as it's been working for me for about a year! I eat mostly vegan food, and I have 5 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones.
10 ReplyEat less. I didn't change anything about What I ate. I just ate until I was satisfied.
Dropped 30 pounds in 3 months. Wasn't diet alone though.10 Reply- 1.3K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic.

Eat stuffs with high protein like chicken breast is best some green salads and protein shakes too , fruits will also be helpful
Drink a lot of water
Do you workout?04 Reply- +1 y
yeah, i'm a rower so i work out 5-8 times a week but I'm vegetarian so i get protein from other places. i think rowing builds muscle though it's hard to lose weight at the same time
