Does anyone follow a pretty strict diet to stay in shape?

I wouldn't call my diet extremely strict but i dont drink soda, eat anything "junky"(chips, donuts, candy, ice cream, cookies are), no white carbs, no fast food/eating out, intake of 1200-1800 calories (my bmr), and i drink at the very least 2L of water a day.
Does anyone follow a pretty strict diet to stay in shape?
