İs it true antibiotic shots are more powerful than pills?

I heard that there are no difference between antibiotics shots and pills on internet. they seem to be equally effective. but I have chronic sinusitis that have not responded to any kind of pills so far. but my doctor said that rocephin will work on me. I have needle fear. should I try rocephin injection?

I get a really bad sinus infection every year, I get so sick I'm in bed for a week and when I've gone to the dr they've just told me to rest and drink lots of fluids. What I have found that helps is taking allergy pills, I always get a horrible headache and my face will hurt and the only thing that will help the headache is the allergy pills, Tylenol doesn't even work it had to be those pills and I usually buy.88cent ones from Walmart that work well so really any would work just be sure to get non drowsy. I also found steam helps a lot, I have super hot water and a small apartment so I steam the whole apartment with the shower running but you could run your shower on hot and sit in the bathroom for a few mins a few times a day. I've gotten one every year since 4th grade and the allergy pills and steam help a lot but you still need to be sure and get plenty of rest, eat fruits and veggies and drink lots of fluids.
