Are you a better writer or speaker? Particularly when it comes to debate, persuasion, dialogue, or otherwise communicating an idea?

I'm definitely a better writer.

That's a good question. I know when i was in school they had students write short stories and they chose students from each grade. I entered twice and i won twice.

If your story was selected like mine you got to go to a local college (central college) in Pella Iowa for a day and participate in writers workshops.

I don't think i'm that good of a writer though because i never got along with my English teachers. One of them stuck me in a remedial reading class (which i didn't need according to the tests they gave me). And another English teacher told me i write incoherently.🤣 So maybe i just had a good imagination as a kid and that carried me.🤷‍♂️🤣

I find I've better rhythm and flow in writing than in speech. It doesn't feel natural to speak as one would write.
