Pill dates changed after travelling?

Hi,

I just came back to Australia from a two month holiday in Europe. I've been taking the pill for over a year, and when I arrived in Europe the day was changed backwards (so on Tuesday I was taking the Monday pill) and now that I've arrived home, its gone back another day ( so on Tuesday I take the Sunday pill). I'm on my period now taking the inactive pills, but I'm uncertain when to start my next pack. Should I wait until Sunday to start it as normal, or start it on Friday as per my new European timetable? I'm so confused.

Wait until you've taken no more than 7 placebo pills before starting your next pack of active pills.

With birth control pills, as long as you make sure to have taken at least 21 days of hormonal pills followed by a placebo pill will that's no longer than 7 days, you'll be fine and fully protected. Ideally with a new pill every 24 hours with a window of no more than 12 hours until it's considered late (if you're on a combination pill) and you'll have to look at the instructions for the specific pill you're on to see what to do in those cases.

no. You'll be no longer protected at that point.

well... if that woudl require you to wait longer than 7 days without active pills, no.
