Do people honestly think that their loved one with cancer is brave, a hero or a fighter?

Because having cancer doesn't make you any of those. It just makes you a victim.
Why do we put victims on pedastils?

I swear I'm tired of seeing slogans like "I never knew bravery until I saw it in my mom". But having cancer never made her brave, it just made her unfortunate.
