Eat healthy and do cardio. Running is the best but most importantly find something you enjoy doing. Weight training burns little calories I wouldn't bother at all.
You can't spot-target where you want to burn the fat. The fat has to be released into the bloodstream and get processed before you can use it. Certain places in your body, determined genetically, release fat easier than others. Therefore doing squats will accomplish essentially nothing for you.
For diet just eat healthy. Maybe a bit of a calorie deficit. The fancy diet plans you find online claiming blah blah blah never work as well as they claim. There are no shortcuts, no miraculous metabolism boosters. It's all in how hard you want to work.
Just do cardio, and be at a caloric deficit
