Can you cheat on orienteering?

I have orientation class on PE at school this week and I really suck at it and I always end up being lost, any ways to cheat?

It depends, if your map gives you the actual coordinates of the checkpoints the yeah you can plug them into your phone. If it's a basic map probably not though ☺. The only other way I can think of cheating is to follow someone who is good lol.
