Thanks.
I'm going vegan! Help?
Thanks.
Well all nuts and seeds have a lot of calories. But some flax seed in your oatmeal. Have some chia pudding for dessert or just snack on them.

Oil also has a lot of calories, not so healthy though. I LOVE pasta/bread and chilli oil though. It's the best. There also is vegan cheese, which is usually made out of oil and nuts. Or make your own fries by cutting potatoes/sweet potatoes, put some oil on them and bake them,
Another one of my favorites is red thai curry. It's made with coconut milk, which is essentially like cream and it has plenty of vegetables as well. In fact every curry can be made vegan by using coconut milk instead of cream

Burritos tend of plenty of calories as well. Essentially it's black beans, refried beans, rice, salsa and gaucamole. Possibly some vegetables and all wrapped in a tortilla
As for snacks, well most chips are vegan, as are most granola bars and almost all smoothies you can buy. There are vegan ice creams, you can even make your own by mixing coconut milk, sugar and whatever flavor you want. Or you can blend frozen banans and a kind of ice cream like substance. You can easily eat 5 or more bananas in one go like that
Dried fruits in general are very nutritionally dense. Most good granola bars are essentially dates and oats. So you can make your own or other desserts. This channel is really good for that
Chickpeas are also actually quite high in calories. Try hummus or Farlafel. They sell cramalised onion hummus at the farmers market here and it's the best.
I also like this channel. She makes a lot of like "normal" recipes, whereas most vegan channels tend to be like super clean, no fat and no salt
That's all I can think of. Hope it helps
The most important thing is to make sure you're getting sufficient calories.
www.webmd.com/diet/estimated-calorie-requirement
If you are still eating above your caloric requirements, and you end up still losing weight, just up your intake of fats and proteins.
Focus on the calorically dense foods like rice, potatoes, beans, lentils, pasta, dates, avocados, bananas, nuts, and seeds.
Gaining weight as a vegan means playing strong emphasis on calorie dense foods like nuts/nut butters, brown rice, and beans. Also, add olive oil or coconut oil to the things you cook for extra calorie density. Adding fat to your diet is the easiest way to increase calorie count, and the best vegan sources of fat are oils and nuts and avocado.
Almonds are high in calories with a lot of healthy fats. Watermelon have a lot of calories too. Whats good about nuts are that they contain just about everything. They contain protein, fats, calcium, and are loaded with fiber which ensures you that your stomach is going to absorb everything and nones going to waste :)

Ah it makes me so happy when I hear other people are going vegan as well. I've been vegan for just under a year now, and I experienced the same problems as you in terms of being underweight etc. I'd really recommend basing all your meals around high-calorie carbs (but complex carbs like bananas, oatmeal, wholegrain pasta, beans, kale of other leafy greens, rice etc.), with protein (I eat a lot of edamame beans, tofu, avocado and lentils.) This combo is really good for keeping you full, and a great thing about this diet is that you can eat large quantities regularly throughout the day without feeling too heavy or bloated. A thing I've started doing is purposely adding fat to every meal. I make a fruit smoothie every morning and literally sprinkle the chia seeds (fat) into it. Good luck with your veganism!
One thing you can do is eat many meals during the day (more than three) and snacks are helpful too. Since you aren't getting all the same nutrients you'd get from animal products you should be taking vitamin supplements (especially iron to avoid getting anemia). Eat lots of legumes to get your essential amino acids too! Also eat more high calorie foods like dried fruits or drinking fruit juices (these have more calories than regular fruit).
You can get plenty of iron from vegan options sure you need to eat more than meat eaters to get it but it has less calories and doesn't have unhealthy effects of meat although you do need b12 supplements as a vegan.

try gaining muscle instead of just fat
https://www.nomeatathlete.com/gain-weight-vegan/
Eat a lot of pasta
Use olive oil when cooking
Add salt to foods
Eat nuts and avocados
Eat vegan alternatives to classic meals (e. g. veggie burgers)
Add olive oil and/or flaxseed oil to your food. Also consider vegan mayonnaise. Eat plenty of starches like rice and potatoes. That should fill you.
I would say focus on gaining muscle but, rice has empty calories and doesn't fill you up. So although I love them, F**k the chopsticks and spoon that rice lol
have you ever seen a big vegan? I can't think of any... your best bet is likely tofu... It is the closest thing to meat I think
Maybe try going vegetarian first to get into the lifestyle? Its much easier tho

I mean sure if you have a shit ton of them but with exercise and a vegan diet bananas aren't gonna fatten you up.
I said help with weight gain, not make you gain weight. Believe it or not there is actually a difference in diction. So question asker I guess you can eat a lot of bananas lol heads up there are so many vegan recipes that use bananas as a binding agent. You don't have to eat a ton, that's just what I ate a lot of to help gain weight when I went vegetarian. ☺
Vegan pasta corn and breads
I can't I am not vegan!
What is up with this liberal vegan trend? Lol
