After a take I did on Horizon Times vs. the Bible, I got trolled quite a bit about the meat disputes. They claimed that Leviticus is "unscientific," so I decided to challenge that assertion.
This isn't quality lamb, but the cheap stuff on sale at Meijer (similar to Wal-Mart, for you non-Midwesterners.) My understanding is that Moses was not talking about a literally fat-free meat, but was referring to cutting off the chunks of toxic lard and grizzle (which most of us get rid of anyway, because there are no real benefits to its consumption.)
Now I realize that a trained rabbi would probably freak out about all the mistakes made in my diagram above. I'm aiming at "The Complete Moron's Guide to Understanding Moses, and How To Silence Trolls."
Like 100% fat removal is not possible, neither is blood. But it's pretty obvious that raw blood and blood clots should be cooked to insignificance. In other words, no vampire / zombie imitation crap behavior.
I would like some clarity, because I also know that Proverbs 3:5 warns against subjective assurance in self-referential pretentiousness. (Even though that's a cultural sacred cow in the west today.)
