Best workouts to loose 50 lb in about 8 months?

Hello all I'm kinda embarrassed to ask but what's the best way to drop the lbs safely, I've gained 60 lbs throughly being pregnant on bed rest giving birth remaining on bed rest and then getting on birth control, I've been eating healthier and have just recently been cleared to work out again currently my husband takes our daughter to the park for 30 Min to an hour while I workout in the gym I do interval training on the treadmill 2 min bursts of running my hardest then slowly dropping it back, then after I've done 15- 30 min of that depending on how long I'm at the gym that day I do either legs or arms till I need to go
