I run a business but all work I do nobody will pay for. I've now gone 6 months and no money and hired a solicitor (on no money)

With Christmas coming up I want to buy him something. He's had promotions at work and I'm thinking of doing s paid medical trial to afford his presents and my dads.

Yes everybody has been invoiced and reigestered properly but nobody will pay including penalties and interest added. It's awesome.. I haven't paid myself this entire year. And after a birthday of saying I couldn't afford it I would rather sell myself to give him a present than him suffer again. I love giving presents and I'm so unhappy I can't without selling my body. He has forbidden me for selling my body for sex

I would be upset and feel as though they put gifts or money above my feelings for them. I honestly don't know if I could be with someone who could think my feelings are based on or retained by gifts.

If he loves you then he loves YOU not a Christmas gift. If you want to show you love and appreciate him then do something special for him or make him something using your skills. Design him something that means something to both of you.

As a side note your business sounds like it's in some serious trouble. Maybe starting a deposit system for any future work or not delivering until payment is made in full is another way to go?

I wouldn't be angry, it's his body, if he wants to do a drug trial then technically, it's none of my business. Buuuut I'd be upset that he didn't trust me enough to talk to me about it or ask for my opinion first, especially if it was just because he wanted to get me a gift, that'd make me feel like shit.

Not angry but I'll wonder why is she doing it at first.
If I find out she's doing it for me , I'd feel like a useless sack of shit. No present on earth is worth selling herself to a drug trial for.
If she wants to sign up for the paid drug trial , earn some dosh to back on her feet , I don't like it but I understand.
Just to make me "happy" however , the guilt would eat me alive. There are many more christmases to come , I already have all I need.

I don't think I'd be angry, so much as I'd be concerned that they'd made a bad decision. I'd be worried about her health, and bad side effects.

I suppose it would also depend on what kind of trial it was. I'd probably react more strongly to certain types of drugs, than others. Hard to say.

I'd feel really horrible if someone went through all of that to get me something. It's thoughtful don't get me wrong but it's not worth risking all those side effects... just knowing she cares is enough for me.

I wouldn't be angry or mad. I don't judge people on thing's they do. I would want them to not be afraid to tell me things.
