Why are dark features genetically more dominant than light features?

For instance dark hair gene is more dominant than blond hair gene or dark eye gene is more dominant than light eye gene. Why? There should be a biological reason.

It's because the human default was dark skin, brown eyes and dark hair. The lighter variations are genetic mutations that were likely perpetuated via sexual selection. When a baby is developing, the "normal" genes are preferred over the mutations which is why it's more likely that the baby will have dark skin, dark hair or brown eyes. That's obviously a simplification as I'm not taking into account heterozygous genes, incomplete dominance, co-dominance, etc.

Because generally speaking the lighter traits are an absence of something, like a empty room is the absence of clutter. The second you add anything, you no longer have a vacuum. The room may not be full, but it's no longer empty.

I'm no expert but maybe it has something to do with the fact that light hair and light eyes are anomalies. At some point in human evolution, the respective genes mutated, before that, it's really likely that all humans had dark hair and eyes.

color has nothing to do with dominance. You're just used to seeing darker guys as more dominant. Either one can be dominant regardless of color.
